For Sale – Elm Hollow’s Nowell, AHCA # pending

A gentle bull calf who can bring some power into your breeding program.

Christmas day of 2024 was exciting here! Not one, but two beautiful bull calves were born after successfully breeding two of our best cows with our new AI skills! One of those calves, Elm Hollow’s Nowell (one version of Noel) has been a joy to watch grow and develop.

Although he was one of the top two calves in size, Nowell was also right at the top of his halter class for gentleness. He was a little shy at first, but now, although no longer shy, he is polite and respectful of your space which is so important in a herd sire.

When our calves graduate from halter classes we like to play dressup,  even with the boys. Nowell was a good sport.

Nowell’s family tree includes some very well known and well respected ancestors on both sides. His sire was a show ring success as the Intermediate Champion in the National show in Denver in 2003 and Grand champion at the Badger State Classic in 2004, where he was judged by a Scottish judge. At only 10 months old, Rooster tied for top honors in the Quebec Highland Bull competition.

On his dam’s side, he can boast two impact dams, two impact bulls, and one elite impact dam. This boy can bring some power into your breeding program!

I’ve really enjoyed watching this this red boy grow. He was color tested at UC Davis.
