For Sale – Elm Hollow’s Mackay, AHCA # 68815

A well-bred brindle bull calf looking to be a herd sire.

This beautiful little bull, sired by WKA Braxton, was born on 12/14/23. As a baby, Mackay looked to be a sturdy little red bull, but as all who are familiar with the Highland breed know, those calves can fool you with their color changes. He is now obviously brindle and has a generous amount of blond frosting in his dossan, down his flat top line and on the tip of his tail. Mackay loves to be groomed and will make a great young herd sire.

Mackay did a bit of graduate school after his halter training as we had planned on entering him in the Southeast Show. We got very involved with hurricane relief efforts and had to choose between that and showing. Somehow, getting food to workers and victims seemed to be the better choice. So, Mackay is almost show ready!!

He boasts many great bulls in his ancestory on both his sire’s and his dam’s sides. Gusgurlach of Windrush, Sunset Doubletake, CBS Onyx, Skye High Cornerstone, and LiTerra Silverado are all very well known.

Mackay’s color will be corrected on the registration when it is transferred to his new owner.
